Carpenter

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is a staffing company in construction that does project based, temporary to permanent, and permanent positions for craftspeople in the field. We offer weekly pay, benefits, and competitive payrates come join our team! An experienced Carpenter use a variety of hand and power tools to accurately measure, cut and join wood, drywall, fiberglass, plastic and other building materials. Oversee the work of apprentice carpenters and be comfortable framing, measuring, completing trim and all finishing work. We are seeking Mid to Journey level Carpenters to join our team.

The pay rate for this job is $23 - $28 / hour

Responsibilities

• Working with metal and wood framing and roof truss components

• Using hand or electric tools to fabricate, cut, and install the framework

• Reading and understanding blueprints and drawings

• Helping place and secure wood during the building process

• Being confident in framing, measuring, trim work, and finishing work

 Qualifications:

• Three or more years' experience in residential and / or commercial carpentry

• Reliable transportation

• Tools of your trade
