    Make a Difference

    The Cardiac Monitor Tech performs cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation. They are responsible for communicating effectively and efficiently with interdisciplinary staff.

    Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

    Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

    • Previous experience in healthcare field required.

    • Must demonstrate ability to communicate orally and in written format, perform basic math calculations including use of decimals.

    • Must be able to interact with interdisciplinary staff.

    • Must have successfully completed the arrhythmias recognition course.

    • Ability to communicate with healthcare providers of varying ages.

    • Recognize effect of age on interpretation of EKG's.

    • Able to sit for long periods of time and maintain high state of alertness.
