    Overview

    Act as customer facing business manager for the Capital portfolio including strategic partnerships, SMB and channel business. Define with a multi-functional team the strategy to grow substantially the given portfolio and drive the execution of it in alliance with the respective functional departments.

    Drive pipeline and revenue of the Capital portfolio through the definition and execution of target sectors and go to market strategy, leveraging Siemens Xcelerator, Digital Threads, solution campaigns and initiatives to improve success and exceed the annual business plan. Working closely with zone and country PFDs to ensure all our PFD tactics are being applied.

    Drive the segment on the needs from the sales organization to be successful in the market. Establish your role as a natural leader in our matrix organization. Provide management reporting to executive management, zone and key country managers, gain their trust, endorsements and support to implement aggressive growth targets.

    Activities & Responsibilities in the areas below:

    • Drive multi-functional team improvement initiatives by deriving strategic directions and implement them within the team to achieve the next level of performance

    • Establish trust and motivation on a country and zone management level to invest and drive execution on the given portfolio

    • Act as trusted advisor to Zone and Country Portfolio Development lead by providing guidance on the planning, execution and measurement of portfolio development activities

    • Build and maintain a global business plan that aligns with the zone and country business and revenue plans, and ensures these plans are aligned with the Integrated Country Plans (ICP), incorporating any new global sales initiatives and campaigns that may be planned in the future

    • Drive the segment through consolidating and prioritizing feedback from the zones, identifying functionality gaps, market opportunities, competitive feedback, strategic opportunities etc. and become a trusted advisor to the segment that can drive focus on the appropriate topics

    • Drive execution of appropriate campaigns within the zones/countries and analyze existing campaigns to ensure they are effective/complete, address issues identified, gain input from country and zone PfDs

    • Identify new campaigns based for new products, solution domains or industries

    • Analyze portfolio to ensure adequate coverage of each specific portfolio area - align with segments

    • Liaise with Global Learning and Development in addition to Learning Services to ensure appropriate enablement exists for relevant campaigns

    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for specific portfolios and provide feedback as required

    • Provide management reporting to executive management, zone and key country managers, get their trust, endorsements and support to execute aggressive growth targets

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or master's degree holder in Electrical Engineering, Electrical / Automotive Software, Information Technology or necessary relevant business experience.

    • 5+ years working experience in Electrical / Electronic or Embedded software industry

    • 3+ years working in a zone role doing a similar job, driving consistency of execution.

    • Extensive and proven Electrical systems knowledge and experience selling as well as technical knowledge

    • Solution knowledge with Siemens Electrical (Capital) solutions or competitive products is essential.

    • Proficient in English

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to build convincing documents/presentations to drive the right conversations

    • Ability to drive people through leadership, building up trust and influence in our global matrix organization

    • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to see opportunities and able to initiate the right actions to grow the business

    • Ability to drive change management without authority to achieve the needed improvements in our organization for meaningful growth

    • Be able to work in a multi-cultural environment, involving global teams from all 3 zones.

    • Ability to travel 25%-50% of the time

    The total cash compensation range for this position is $215,500 to $431,000 with 30% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
