Description

They need to hire 1 BIM Tech Lead/Manager or a Senior BIM Designer/Modeler. DUTIES: **Support: Provide daily Revit + Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM 360/ACC) management & support to project teams in across all offices and consultants **Train: Responsible for discipline specific Revit + ACC/BIM 360 training programs throughout the firm to include, monthly user group tips and tricks, new employee training, individual staff training and support **Leadership: Coordinate with other Tech Leads, recommend new technology developments and aid in presenting **Innovation: Provide critical thinking approach to the way we practice and produce design solutions by embracing technology and forward critical thinking that continuously improves the design process. **Misc: Templates - co-manage the Revit templates update with other Tech Leads. Content creation - co-manage creation and library management. **Software deployment and updates - work with the IT department to manage the deployment of Revit and other ancillary BIM tools. Tools - work with Project Delivery department to continue researching and developing efficiency tools that streamline our Project Delivery process. Participate in Revit/BIM organizations and national conferences. Coordination - support project teams by meeting with engineering consultants and contractors to refine BIM processes. **Generate project-specific custom parametric Revit families and/or BIM templates and content, as needed **Support and successfully apply company, client, and project drafting standards, procedures, and best practices to project templates and users **Demonstrate ability to apply formulas, principles, and practices to complete required models and drawings **Provide a range of production work including problem analysis, layout, modeling, detailing, drafting, and coordination with other disciplines on project of substantial variety and complexity **Demonstrate knowledge of assigned and related disciplines **Project Support - Coordinate BIM activities with other designers, drafters, and design disciplines **Successfully communicate and correspond with internal project personnel and external clients **Execute design changes and project drawing revisions throughout all project phases **Maintain BIM and CAD proficiency and mastery of current software platforms. **Assess problems and recommend solutions to technical and design related issues **Interpret, analyze, organize new design projects and/or revisions to existing projects of varying scales and complexity **Apply the use of technology differentiators (3D modeling, advanced rendering, etc.) in marketing and proposal development **Demonstrate willingness to stay abreast of BIM related technologies and engineering concepts to provide flexible project support **Recognize and work to meet project schedules and budgets **Maintain a collaborative and dynamic work environment with related staff in multiple disciplines to assure project success **Support and mentor BIM Coordinators and fellow users across the organization **Integrate BIM models with analysis tools **Assist Project Managers as needed can be 100% remote. would be support their Water Resources Dept, and would work on various Water/Wastewater projects around SE Michigan and other areas of the country.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVES: Bachelor's Degree in an AEC specific discipline, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred and 8 plus years OR 10 years of related experience with no degree Expert user in Revit + Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM 360/ACC), with experience providing one-on-one Revit support Large firm experience (engineering/consulting) Experience with Revit training within a large firm environment BONUS: Structural or Mechanical Process Piping project experience
