AWS Cloud Application Engineer

Job Description

This person will work within the Systems Engineering team to contribute to all phases of cloud implementation including requirements analysis, data architecture, solution design, code development, CI/CD, and documentation. He/she will be responsible for providing Level 4 application troubleshooting and maintenance for multiple operationally critical applications within the supply chain space. He/she will learn to understand business processes, application behavior, business operations, priorities and criticality, prioritize issues for triage/trouble-shooting by self and/or team, and participate in ticket trouble-shooting individually and with peers. Will interface regularly with peer Development teams, peer support teams, Business Partners & stores for investigations, triaging, workaround communications, outage notifications, and assessments to improve existing processes. You will work with a variety of core languages and technologies including Java or .Net and AWS services.

Skills and Requirements

-3+ years Experience in software engineering with .NET, .NET core, JAVA.

-Angular and React experience.

-Proficiency with AWS, Docker, Linux & Windows operating systems

-3+ years experience in AWS environment- EC2, IAM, Glue Jobs, Lambda, ECS containers, VPC, S3, Storage Gateway are primary AWS tools

-Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Azure DevOps, Gitlab, Gitfarm) PLUS

-Experience with migrating (and supporting) applications to the AWS cloud

-Experience working in an Agile environment

-Expertise with modern programming languages, systems, and architectures

-hybrid onsite in Austin, TX AWS Cloud Practitioner Cert null
