    Assistant Critical Facilities Manager (ACFM) Position Summary: The ACFM is a non-exempt position with responsibility to assist aspects of contract services and operations. Reporting to the CFM, the ACFM is the point of contact for day-to-day operations and the onsite Client liaison, leading an unwavering attitude and commitment to safety and reliability as they lead their team capable of achieving the goal of 100% availability of mission critical infrastructure in one or more facilities. The ACFM will drive continual improvements to the operation by creating an expectation of learning and development of their colleagues.

    Location: Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia (DMV) area.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Function as a technical leader of critical electrical and mechanical systems and assist the CFM with aspects of critical physical infrastructure and assets pertaining to the Operations and Maintenance contract.

    • Aid the customer relationship as the daily onsite point-of-contact for all facility-related issues and ensure compliance of Customer Service Level Agreement (SLA) parameters.

    • Lead a team/teams of technicians.

    • Set, review, and assist the CFM with employee work/PTO schedules, audit and process employee time and payroll.

    • Lead the MOP, SOP, and EOP Program, including the development of new documents and ensure the accuracy of existing documents.

    • Lead power and cooling capacity and monitor environmental conditions. Resolve all electrical, mechanical, BAS, EPMS, BMS, and Fire Protection System issues while minimizing risk and business impact and communicate issues to management and customers in a timely manner, per SLAs.

    • Assist the CFM in managing the operations budget and expenditures of assigned contracts.

    • Supervise and escalate the response to after-hours emergencies.

    • Ensure that all work is performed to the highest quality, in accordance associated MOPs and without impact to internal/external stakeholders.

    • Ensure that all maintenance and repair work is scheduled, communicated to the customer, completed in a timely manner, and documented in appropriate (Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), per SLAs.

    Education, Equivalent Experience, and Environmental Factors:

    • Technical education or equivalent 3+ years' experience in related environments, required: technical school with emphasis on critical operations, electrical, mechanical, high-performance manufacturing, relevant military operational, or other relatable experience.

    • Eligible for a security clearance.

    • 3+ years of experience in a position demonstrating leadership attributes among peers.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Experience utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

    • Experience generating cost savings through multiple continuous improvement activities.

    • Working knowledge of purchasing and/or utilizing and managing subcontracts and vendors

    Prolonged sitting or standing, lift or move objects weighing 50 lbs or more
