Assembly Technician - 2nd Shift

Description:

Technician performs a wide range of assembly tasks on medical devices using work instructions and similar documentation. They package what they assemble so they will start with packaging and getting trained there and then will work up to assembly

• Performs a variety of assembly operations on mechanical and electrical components and sub-assemblies under minimal supervision.

• Meets workmanship standards for quality. Can inspect work for defects and report and deviations found. Assumes responsibility for quality level of work performed.

• Meets production level and advised supervisor of progress.

• Meets company standards for attendance, safety, housekeeping and all personnel policy requirements.

• Performs all tasks in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• GMP Experience

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Mainly inputting into Excel, saving and moving files)

• Cleanroom experience is a plus

• 2 years of prior assembler experience, wiring harnessing, and assembly

• Skill/Aptitude: Must be able to demonstrate aptitude for mechanical assembly

• Alternate Qualifications: Ability to read and use process sheets, schematics and blue prints
