Accounting Specialist

Description

Accounts Receivable Duties

• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments.

• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.

• Process incoming payments via various methods (e.g., checks, ACH and wire transfers).

• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or billing issues.

• Maintain accurate customer records and update customer information as necessary.

Financial Reporting and Documentation

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to AP and AR.

• Assist with audits by providing supporting documentation and explanations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with coursework in accounting.

• Two years' relevant work experience, including experience processing invoices and checks and making and preparing bank deposits.

• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and accounting software.

• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
