1st shift Plastics Production Supervisor (Temp to Hire)

Our client, in Henderson, KY is seeking a 1st Shift Production Supervisor to join their team in their Compound Plant. As a Production Supervisor, you will be part of the leadership team supporting production and operations along with quality. The ideal candidate will have prior production or manufacturing supervisory experience, strong communication skills (oral & written) and Knowledge of materials handling, fabrication and packaging techniques which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Henderson, KY

Pay Range: $28.00/HR

What's the Job?

• Handle and prepare materials for production, following specific instructions and formulas.

• Operate laboratory equipment and perform quality control tests to ensure product consistency and adherence to CGMP standards.

• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including batch records, inventory logs, and quality control documentation.

• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and implement lean manufacturing principles.

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent..

• 3-5 years previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse supervisor role.

• Familiarity with laboratory procedures and quality control standards (CGMP).

• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

• Srong leadership skills.
