Project Parsons is pursuing a task order opportunity with the Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO) to offer systems engineering as well as detection equipment and software analysis to support national and homeland security. The staff engaged in this project will help develop the next generation of nuclear and radiological detection systems and processes.
Hiring for these positions will be contingent upon Parsons being awarded this assignment. Need Parsons is seeking systems and software engineers to apply engineering techniques and analyses of nuclear detection systems, equipment and software. The selected engineers will be engaged in analyzing the specifications, test results and software of the vendors who are creating the products in order to assure the DNDO's quality requirements are met. You will be engaged in providing detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses.
Qualifications: Requirements - 6 years of related systems or software engineering, with nuclear or related national security experience
- BS degree in related engineering discipline and Masters degree preferred
- An Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or PE is preferred
- Proof of US Citizenship and current DOD clearance required
