Parsons makes the world a safer place. This is a full time, FLSA exempt position at the National Maritime Intelligence Center, Suitland, MD. The position will be available approximately 01 September 2011.
Description: The Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) at the National Maritime Intelligence Center (NMIC) conducts in-depth analysis of worldwide maritime developments to assess overall patterns in the movement of vessels, movement of high-interest cargoes and other items in the maritime domain that may pose a threat to the security of the United States. Parsons brings world class architecture development and program management to bear in support of National Security.
The incumbent will support the direct planning, facilitation, administrative, plans and policy, and management support to ONI's Maritime Information Systems and Knowledge Management programs. Tasking will include assisting in the development an internal requirements management program, a metrics program, governance plan and policy relating to functional requirements management as well as coordination of ONI's participation in collaborative Navy, DoD, and Intelligence Community efforts. Additionally, the team will assist with required meeting scheduling, track and ensure completion of action items originating from plans and policies as well as external meetings and Video Teleconferences (VTCs). This position will interact with senior government officials, and is expected to exercise discretion in the execution of all of their responsibilities.
Qualifications: - A current TS clearance with SCI access is required.
- Significant experience as an Operations Officer or Administrative Officer is desired.
- Must have a minimum of 15 yrs prior military and/or Inter-Agency experience in Intelligence.
- Architecture development experience
- Navy/Naval experience
- Maritime Domain Awareness experience
- Interagency experience
- Significant experience with ISR systems development
- Experience as an All Source Analyst preferable
- Ability to think and write succinctly and with clarity of purpose.
- Expert with MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be able to translate ideas and concepts to visual media for senior audiences.
Compensation: Highly competitive total compensation package. Salary negotiable based on experience and qualification.
