    The role is for a finance partner to a sales team in the North America Cloud Sales organization. The individual will interface with Sales, Operations, Compensation, and other Global Business Finance groups on a regular basis.

    This position requires extensive interaction with cross functional teams. Strong communication skills with relevant cloud industry background is preferred. Experience supporting executives and demonstrated FP&A process leadership is desired.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide financial guidance and Business Partner expertise to the Sales Leadership team in order to identify areas of risk and ways to improve performance

    • Drive automation & innovation in finance processes

    • Manage weekly forecasting with sales teams

    • Lead the quarterly close process, in close coordination with global Finance colleagues

    • Track forecast accuracy to understand drivers of variances, and share insights with relevant stakeholders

    • Fulfil ad-hoc requests to accelerate growth and to assist in business strategy

    • Identify and assess key financial performance indicators & metrics to measure & track business performance

    • Prepare financial information and analysis in support of Quarterly Business Reviews and other ad-hoc senior management meetings

    • Contribute to annual planning and resource allocation

    PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    • Experience navigating multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

    • Ability to communicate, influence and form strong working relationships at executive level.

    • Strong data analytical and modelling skills. Experience working with large datasets.

    • Knowledge sale organizations and cloud technologies, products, trends and market dynamics.

    • Ability to manage processes, and identify cross-functional issues

    • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, changing business environment

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills

    • 5+ years of relevant professional experience

    • Investment banking and/or consulting background highly desirable

    Financial support to business areas through financial analysis, budgeting, planning & forecasting; to facilitate decision making and future business strategies.

    As a member of Oracle's finance organization, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for planning and control. Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results; preparation of annual budget. Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc.; on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Prepares recommendations based on analyzes. May perform revenue and expense analysis, headcount and headcount driven expense analysis at cost center level, tracking of product and product line revenue, reconciliation of accounts receivable, variance analysis and ad-hoc analysis as needed. You may participate in cross functional programs and projects.

    Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Strong spreadsheet skill and proficiency in Oracle Financials. Strong written and oral communication skill. Ability to work under tight deadlines. Self starter able to prioritize given responsibilities. 5 years relevant work experience. BS/BA in Accounting/Finance preferred. CPA/MBA desired.
