Senior ACS
The Senior ACS will perform ACS duties as assigned. Provide training, coaching and mentoring to other ACS. Using program knowledge and experience, the Senior ACS will identify risks and opportunities to satisfy program requirements and offer solutions to improve service delivery. Perform as a Mid Level Supervisor (MLS) as required which may include responding to pages 24x7, supervising staff, and enforcing post orders, policies and procedures. This is a part-time position and will report directly to the (shift) Mid Level Supervisor.
Senior ACS will be assigned to a specific shift based on Program need. Applicants are encouraged to state their order of preference for shifts. (There will be movement of staff between shifts to meet program needs for Senior ACS coverage.)
Basic Qualifications: • Possess a High School Diploma or GED.
• Have a minimum of nine months continuous experience as an ACS.
• Currently working and will continue to work part-time, or at least 40 hours per pay period.
• Have metal detection certification and full Automated Key Machine training.
• Have no reports of incidents or complaints in the last 9 months.
• Must meet all of the requirements of the Post Work Station (PWS).
• Be approved by the Program COR.
• Pass the annual recertification test with a score of at least 90%.
• Maintain and meet all of the requirements above or be reverted to regular ACS status.
