    Description

    • Provide direction in all engineering/mechanical systems, new installations, repairs, overhauls, modifications and upgrades of all production and support equipment.

    • Responsible for execution and administration of multiple large to extremely complex projects to support business needs of the company.

    • Accountable for CapEx plan development, capital cash flow management, and contractor management.

    • Manage maintenance and capital programs (e.g., planning, budget).

    • Utilize VPO tools to achieve KPI targets and close gaps in performance (root cause analysis, Gap Analysis, MCRS meeting schedules and action logs, 5 - Why's, PDCA and SDCA cycles, etc.).

    • Provide mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and problem solving solutions.

    • Provide direction, counseling, coaching, performance management, skill assessment and training of direct reports

    • Ensure that safety, quality and housekeeping standards are met.

    Qualifications

    • BS degree in Engineering or related field preferred. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.

    • Minimum 5 years experience; Experience in both Engineering and Operational environment preferred.

    • Expert in process and mechanical engineering technologies.

    • Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation; technical, analytical and problem solving skills.

    • Excellent project planning, organization, and problem solving skills

    • Working knowledge of budgeting and cost control.

    • Knowledge of industrial equipment, controls, and preventative maintenance programs

    • Ability to extract, evaluate, and utilize data for process improvement from applicable systems.

    • Demonstrated leadership and change management skills.
