Patrol Officer (Per Diem)
JOB DESCRIPTION: PATROL OFFICER (Per Diem) Position Summary :
Carry out all duties as directed by the Director of Security or other senior supervisor. Responsible for enforcement of all hospital rules, regulations, or policies affecting the safety and security of patients, visitors, staff, or property.
**This is a Per Diem position; apply accordingly .**

Education :
High School or G.E.D.
Required License / Credentials :
Valid NJ Drivers License
Other Required Skills :
Observation and memory recall . PC skills, strong telephone and organizational skills. A strong degree of confidentiality due to the nature of some of the departmental business.

Regular internal and/or external contacts involving tact, discretion and persuasion in order to obtain information and/or willing action or consent..
Supervision Given :
Responsibilities of the position require no supervision or direction of others.
Supervision Received :
Works under general supervision in performing routine assignments, referring unusual or more difficult situations to immediate supervisor.
