Description Northrop Grumman Corporation is seeking an Information Technology Program Manager (ITPM) to become part of Northrop Grumman's Corporate / Enterprise Shared Service PMO (Program Management Office). This position will be located in Falls Church, VA.
The ITPM will lead a dynamic team managing IT and enterprise shared service operations in support of internal Enterprise Shared Service and Corporate Office customers. This role will provide overall leadership of all IT strategy and operational activities including service delivery, technical requirements gathering, infrastructure solutions and project execution as it relates to supporting assigned shared service and corporate customer organizations.
Roles and Responsibilities • Serve as the primary liaison between the Corporate / ESS program office and assigned customers at multiple organizational levels, including the Executive level.
• Interface regularly with customers with high quality management of IT and Enterprise Shared Service deliveries
• In coordination with project teams, and resource managers, ensure that requirements are managed, systems are developed, integrated, tested and deployed and service or system performance issues are appropriately managed and respond to changing customer requirements.
• Resolve competing demands related to project scope, time, cost, customer satisfaction, and quality to ensure compliance with organizational processes and procedures.
• Apprise Northrop Grumman management of status, customer satisfaction, and risks that might affect program performance, and managing the human resources to ensure team success.
• Evaluate status, prepare and present variance analyses and corrective action plans to stakeholders, including company and customer organizations and act proactively to resolve management issues.
• Meet cost and schedule targets and quality requirements, including program performance, customer satisfaction and financial performance.
• Collaborate across the program, with management and customers, to provide solutions that satisfy schedule, cost and technical parameters for the program.
• Participate in PMO, Investment IPT, Horizontal, Tower and CoE meetings.
Basic Qualifications: • Position requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and at least 5 years experience in the Information Technology field
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications • Experience in a high-profile customer-facing role.
• Successful and proven track record of managing non-recurring and recurring activities
• Full systems development lifecycle and IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong customer service, service delivery, requirements & analysis, strategic planning, business process, project management skills and the ability to work with business partners.
• Ability to multitask with multiple customers in multiple locations.
• Must be able to interface well with senior program management, division and sector leaders, and the customer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong financial background, proficient in estimating, budgeting and tracking.
• Ability to work closely with customers and cooperatively with a cross-functional team and ensure delivery on time and within budget.
• Project Management and Technical certifications preferred.
