The TeamWe are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join American TowerÃ¢??s Corporate HR team. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and direction on HR matters to the various Corporate teams, working closely with employees at all levels of the organization on human resources issues, policies, and programs. Come grow your career with us!What You Can Offer Us+ Provide valuable coaching to managers on business and employee issues and to employees by offering objective, informed and honest insight, while ensuring that issues that create risk are identified and mitigated. Proactively identify and recommend successful strategic and tactical plans to support business goals.+ Coach managers and employees on human resources best practices (e.g., Equal Employment Opportunity, Americans with Disabilities Act, anti-sexual harassment, Occupational Safety and Health) based on sound management theory, local law and practical experience.+ Collaborate with other members of HR and other internal partners to support long-range policies and practices that drive Company Diversity and Inclusion strategies. + Manage all recruiting activities for assigned roles, including but not limited to driving best practices regarding sourcing, interviewing, and candidate selection, which includes posting positions, researching and recommending new sources for active and passive candidates, screening and interviewing qualified, candidates, and extending and negotiating offers.Ã‚ Serve as the primary point of contact for external recruiting agencies. Drive recruiting processes that ensure consistency with Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) regulations.+ Communicate with and coach hiring managers and interviewers on talent acquisition best practices, including the corporate recruiting process, behavioral interviewing, and overseeing the candidate experience.Ã‚ This also includes partnering with hiring managers and the Legal department to write and update job descriptions.Ã‚ + Facilitate the recruiting plan for campuses, including identifying recruiting events, club opportunities, and activities to support the CompanyÃ¢??s MBA and undergraduate hiring.+ Support diversity and military recruiting efforts, including developing a robust sourcing strategy for active and passive candidates, cultivating relationships with diverse organizations, identifying and participating in career fairs, researching and recommending diversity publications and advertisement opportunities, and tracking and reporting on diversity outreach efforts.+ Lead employee performance evaluation process and partner with management to ensure that all employees are provided with clear and consistent goals and feedback on performance; provide performance improvement recommendations and/or training where growth opportunities exist for employees to develop additional job skills.+ Acts as a lead on new projects and initiatives. Executes at the tactical level to carrying these project and initiatives from inception to delivery. + Identify opportunities for employee, manager and leadership development.Ã‚ Facilitate development and delivery of programs such as New Manager Training, Performance Management Training, Behavioral Interviewing, and other needed training. + Partner with business leaders on organizational change initiatives.Ã‚ Provide insight on restructuring or organizational design.+ Other duties as assigned.Ã‚What You Need to Succeed+ Bachelor's degree preferred. Advanced degree a plus.+ Eight years progressive human resources experience in areas including but not limited to employee relations, employment law, talent management, organizational change, compensation and recruiting and training required.+ A proven track record of aligning human resources goals and objectives with businesses goals, combined with a strong understanding of business concepts and key business drivers.+ Exceptional problem-solving skills to effectively influence decision-making in the areas of talent assessment, change management, performance management, talent acquisition and employee relations.+ Working knowledge of current theories on diversity, inclusion, and belonging. Experience with Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, ERGÃ¢??s etc. preferred.Ã‚ Ã‚ + Experience with recruiting, including with ATS required. Experience with campus recruiting preferred.+ Understanding of state and federal employment laws.+ Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite. + Strong interpersonal awareness and skills with particular emphasis on listening, facilitation, and group dynamics.+ Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.+ Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results. Demonstrated ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization and be a strong contributing member of multiple teams.+ Dynamic self-starter who can work independently and show resourcefulness to get the job done and ability to multi-task. Strong collaboration and decision-making skills with a bias for action.+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.+ Approximately 10-15% travel may be required in support of the positionÃ¢??s responsibilities.
