The Company
With over $3.0B in annual revenue, the Public Sector of our client company’s Enterprise Services division consists of multiple operating segments specializing in the provision of IT, applications, infrastructure, and outsourcing services solutions for customers across international and domestic government markets.
Position Description
The Capture Manager is responsible for crafting and managing a detailed pursuit plan for large, complex federal civilian agency services opportunities. This role develops the overall win strategy, solution framework, value proposition, and story lines. The Capture Manager should maintain a thorough knowledge of assigned federal civilian organizations and present company capabilities with respect to meeting those organizations needs.
Develops internal support and commitment in terms of resources, leadership participation, and governance
Engages client and influences the clients’ needs as to be documented in the RFP
Gathers and assesses customer needs, both business and technical
Identifies information on competitors and product roll-out data/training needs
Actively identifies opportunities to assist peers Regionally and globally in area of expertise (e.g., writing white-papers) Client/customer relationship
Maintains excellent communications with customer IT/Line of Business (LOB) management and business executives globally
Advances opportunities through the use of effective consultative selling techniques
Builds customer loyalty through being a trusted advisor
Partners effectively with others in the account to ensure problem resolution and customer satisfaction
Analyzes and provides support to deals in the pipeline where needed
Understands the roles and affectively directs other teams and resources within the company and partners, Regionally and globally
Facilitates smooth transition from sales to implementation by orienting the appropriate teams to the pursuit plan
Contributions have major impact across company Regions and Business Unit (BU)'s, and strong impact on company's business
Requirements:
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess many of the following specific qualifications and experiences:
Business Management Bachelor's degree; Masters Degree preferred
8-12 years experience in capture management and solution/account management
Technical and solution experience in Information Technology (IT) industry
Experience in federal civilian vertical preferred
5-10 years experience in project/program management
