The Sales & Marketing Readiness team is part of Oracle's Global Marketing organization. The team has historically provided content strategy and management services to Product Marketing and other teams to help optimize the distribution of their sales enablement / engagement content and tools that enable Oracle's sales force to nurture and convert prospects into customers. Services are often delivered in a project-based manner.
The team's charter is expanding to include broader project management services to the Sales and Marketing organization. We are seeking an experienced Program Manager who can put in place the foundational tools and processes for the team to operate efficiently and deliver well-managed project journeys and high quality output at scale for our internal clients in a consistent manner. Direct involvement in, and/or ownership of, projects is also expected. This is an individual contributor role with high potential to evolve into managing a team.
The team is split across the U.S. (~25%) and India (~75%), while our internal clients reside mainly in the U.S. and Europe. The Program Manager will join the team in the U.S.

Interpreting and reorganizing info crucial for Competitive Intelligence win/loss analysis
Gathering customer info and using it to populate a new sales support tool
Creating and operationalizing an executive dashboard of top business goals
Migrating teams and their content across content platforms
A steady flow of strategic projects critical to the success of Oracle Marketing teams is expected.
Primary Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Define, document, and implement best practice processes for program management
Identify and implement necessary tools to support program management operations
Define, scale, and operationalize best practice project management processes
Manage / guide the allocation and utilization of team resources to projects
Manage a pipeline of widely varying projects
Maintain visibility into project portfolio status; ensure info is always "executive ready"
Collaborate closely with colleagues in India
Structure, manage, and lead individual projects
Undergraduate degree in an analytical field
PMP and/or PgMP or other professional certification
Sales Operations experience in a technology company
Experience Needed to Succeed
5+ years of managing a sizable portfolio of simultaneous projects and programs
5+ years of managing a team of project managers of varying experience levels
5+ years of working directly with internal clients and managing their expectations
5+ years of working within a matrixed organization , with extensive executive and cross-org engagement
Experience using and administering Wrike or other enterprise-grade project management app
Experience with content management systems strongly preferred
Management consulting experience helpful
Proficient in MS Office suite, especially Excel (inc. pivot tables) and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; can switch style and depth of communication by type and seniority of audience; can produce well-structured executive summaries and reports in PowerPoint
Strong understanding of business numbers, analytics, and analysis
Solid business judgment based on gathering and processing facts and data , plus, asserting reasonable assumptions when data is not available
