Qualifications Benefits Supplemental Questions
Associate degree in the discipline or related field and ten years of recent work experience in the culinary/hospitality industry, or Bachelor’s degree in the discipline or relate field and five years of recent work experience in the culinary/hospitality industry, plus credentials equivalent to American Culinary Federation certification at a Sous chef or culinary educator level or be willing to attain the certification. The minimum work experience in culinary/hospitality industry should be in management or supervisory experience in fine dining, full service, professional kitchens and teaching experience, with the ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills in both front of the house and back of the house food preparations. Must have excellent communication skills, problem solving, organizational and culinary skills. Basic computer skills needed. Ability to work well with a diverse group of students with a wide range of academic abilities.

This is a 9-month unclassified faculty position. Anticipated start date will be January 7, 2013, or as soon as available.
