Sr. Instrumentation/Electrical Technician
Supervises, directs, trains, and evaluates assigned staff responsible for programming and maintaining electrical controls, instrumentation, and equipment associated with Collier County’s Wastewater Department.
Oversees the installation of new telemetry equipment, and programs and maintains the integrity and safety of the extensive electrical controls, telemetry and instrumentation equipment.
High School or GED supplemented by vocational /technical training in electrical systems, instrumentation, and computerized controls; supplemented by five years previous experience that includes computerized control systems, programmable logic controllers, and installation /repair of electrical equipment, preferably in a public utility system environment. Journeyman Electrical License is required.
